Banana Breakfast Bars


  • 150ml olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 small ripe bananasmashed
  • 100g almond meal
  • 350g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a 20x20cm baking tray with baking paper
  2. In a small saucepan on a low heat melt the honey and add the olive oil once melted
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the remaining ingredients. Thoroughly combine and then pour the mixture into the baking tray and spread evenly
  4. Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown
  5. Cut into medium sized portions and eat.
