Dr Baisi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Science (Orthodontics) from the University of Sydney and worked with the highly respected doctors, Dr J F Reading and Dr D J Bradley. After a number of years, Dr Baisi acquired the business and set about developing it further as a practice of excellence and distinction.

In 2001, The Ortho Practice was born and it continues today with Dr Baisi enjoying great results for all patients with his energetic and fun personality. As well as operating this highly regarded private practice, Dr Baisi’s devotion to his profession has led him to hold a variety of teaching positions at the University of Sydney. Over the years he has lectured and tutored at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, maintaining his educator role today as Appointed Lecturer (part-time) Discipline of Orthodontics.

Dr Baisi is also an active member of the greater orthodontic community, holding many titles including a number of years as President of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, NSW Branch. He is now the Treasurer of the Australasian Orthodontic Board and Treasurer Elect of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (National).

 
Dr Gus Vivaldi

Dr Vivaldi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001 and his Masters in Orthodontics in 2004, both in renowned institutions in Brazil. He opened his private practice in 2001 in Brazil and operated it successfully until 2013 when he moved to Australia with his family. Dr Vivaldi was delighted to recently be granted his dental registration in Australia and is in the process of pursuing his Australian orthodontic specialist registration.

Since qualifying as a doctor in Brazil, Dr Vivaldi has undertaken further Post-Graduate studies, which include a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan, as well as a residency in Dental Implantology. He has over 12 years of orthodontic experience. Dr Vivaldi treats patients with complex Invisalign® cases, achieving a prominent position within the Invisalign® community in Brazil where he has become an Invisalign® presenter, including undertaking a position as a visiting teacher at the State University of Maringá in the Masters of Orthodontics program. In 2012, Dr Vivaldi was invited to visit the primary Invisalign® facility in Costa Rica, and shortly after that he founded the first study group in South America in this field. On the basis of his Brazilian registration, Dr Vivaldi holds the following memberships: World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Brazilian Association of Orthodontists (ABO). He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).

Dr Vivaldi is a proud father of two beautiful children and enjoys exercising, dining and wine.

Dr Natalie Dumer migrated to Sydney Australia with her family as a seven year old child from the former USSR.

After completing her schooling at Sydney Girls High School, she commenced her studies in dentistry in 1989. Dr Dumer graduated from the University of Sydney Dental school in 1995 and joined an orthodontic practice, in which she still works to this day. Her passion for orthodontics gives Dr Dumer a unique perspective and understanding of facial balance and an optimal smile.

She has worked in orthodontics for 23 years and is now concentrating on Invisalign® as well as fixed orthodontics, in a caring and gentle way. Her vivacious personality and energy creates a fun, yet efficient place of work.

When not working, Dr Dumer is a full time mum to beautiful young girl and is a fan of great food, great wine and good company.
